linksys support is one of the
finest company who made wifi routers. 2 days back i got a call regarding
customer facing issue with his linksys router support. Actually he want to connect his kindle fire on his wifi and he don't have the wifi password. So I
take remote control of his computer. Firstly I open command prompt and check
all IP addresses,sub net mask and default gateway. Then I open Mozilla Firefox,
and at the place of URL, I put default gateway as 192.168.1.1 and I get router
page open. On router page I configure he SSID and WEP (wireless encrypted
protection). WEP was on 64bit. Customer want his wifi on his name, so I make it
as JOHN`s wireless and put network security key as his phone number. When I
make all the changes and click on apply, all settings gonna save and I restart
the wireless router. Once it comes up with the same SSID and password, customer
was able to connect his wireless device on the network. This was a very good
experience with him.
